A lot of people seem to come through here looking for the drivers for this machine, or an ISO of the driver disk, because Hanvon support for this machine is almost totally non-existent now! Drivers or the drivers disk can not be obtained from Hanvon, or anywhere else it would appear. It is also obvious DJACID has abandoned this blog quite some considerable time ago, so he's not going to re-post these things any time soon, if at all! So it requires for one of you who does have the drivers or the drivers disk to kindly post them up somewhere like mega or mediafire or depositfiles or bitshare or somewhere similar.
People really need this, and one of you reading this must surely be in a position to help out. Hello BUCKAROO, while I would like to thank you for your reply, I really can't! Not trying to be rude here, but surely you must realize that your reply is not only incomplete but also almost entirely incomprehensible!Rather than helping, your reply has only served to derail my previous request above. While I would encourage you to reply again but.completely., I think you will still be on the wrong track as it seems you may be talking about restoring or repairing from the hidden partition. Please don't assume that the hidden partiton is intact, uncorrupted, or even accessible in my case. I have correctly requested the original disk (Hanvon drivers and software) which was posted by DJAcid at the very top of this topic, and now I request it again.BUCKAROO said: 'the drivers are out there.'
I've been looking and still haven't found anything. If the Hanvon drivers are out there I'm not finding them, just a tonne of dead links! Please be so kind as to help us all out and post currently working links for all the Hanvon Touchpad Windows 7 drivers, especially WiFi, Audio, VGA, Chipset, etc.
Oh, and any of the Hanvon software too, if you would be so kind. Thanks!BTW I don't know why you have mentioned Windows 10, it has absolutely nothing to do with this topic and I'm not interested in it at all! A note for BUCKAROOThank you very much for your efforts to respond to my request for the Windows 7 drivers. Were you aware the zip file you uploaded contains malware as detailed above? I am not sure what the rest of the stuff you put in that zip file is meant to be for (Windows 10?), you probably should have said what it all is for. I don't own a Hanvon Touchpad but a friend does and many of the drivers on it appear to be nuked. I am hopeful the Windows 7 drivers you provided will be of help.
Thank you for those. BUCKAROO'malware as detailed above?' Don't tell me your post above was (sic) disappeared?
Need not inf for Win10 thinkaboutit.zippyshare and/or ads might harbour malware. I just downloaded the zip to see it has the same hash as what I uploaded.CRC32: 24CE20BA SHA1: 4C5DE934EC66EA1119B6F22C9BECC60B299E058FThe rars in official folder are what was fetched from Hanvon servers directly, and indirectly via the Wayback Machine. In the unofficial folder is the Win8+ gfx+opengl from DanielK. In the BUCKAROO folder is a script made for my friend.Regard Win10, I wanted only to bring the TouchPad into 2016 for my friend who I gave the Pad to; glad to be rid of it!readme.txt amendment.Thorough erasure of partitions:Shift+10 at Win(10) boot setup.DISKPARTSELECT DISK 0CLEANProceed to clean install Win10.
Peter Lee ([email protected])It may not be appropriate to post here. Although it is still regarding Hanvon b10, this is a little off-topic!Recently, I was excited to have a piece of b10. I want to change the Chinese Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit to English Windows 7 Professional 32-bit and at the same time swap the original HDD to SSD.I have the BIOS updated to 1.8 already but it seems the BIOS is not recognizing the newly purchased Super Talent SSD drive. I tried to troubleshoot this and tried to plug in another Seagate HDD aside from the original pre-installed Toshiba HDD.But even that Seagate HDD is not being recognized by the BIOS. Tried both ACHI and IDE mode! Strange!I tried to do a clean install of the Eng Win7 to b10 but no matter which drive I am using (the other Seagate HDD, the Super Talent SSD or even the original Toshiba HDD).
No drive are shown for installation the Win7 and it says 'No drives were found. Click Load Driver to provide a mass storage driver for installation.'
It's understandable for the drives which are not recognized by the BIOS but Windows 7 installation can't even recognize the original Toshiba HDD from a clean installation.I understand it's a little off-topic but I was too frustrated about this conversion! I believe some experts can shed me some lights here.

If he/she is able to get Froyo out of the b10, they definitely can manage to change the OS and drives in the b10. Did you remove the battery before changing the hard drive???any static can damage the serial controller, try, removing the battery 2 screws, then hold the power and drain any remaining power, reinstall the original hard drive and then plug the battery back in and see if the bios picks it back up,change to ACHI mode, regarding SSD the super talent are a pain,i had the same issue where as the ssd wouldnt show in my tm2,i had to clone the original drive and copy over to the sdd and then it worked. Peter Lee ([email protected])By removing 2 screws, do you mean to remove the battery completely? How about the 'no drives were found' issue while installing Windows 7? Did you ever came across this problem as well? I did quite a bit of search on the internet and it's been reported the lack of the SATA controller driver from the Win7 installation DVD. The solution is to load that driver to Win7 installation but I have trouble even locating that driver. My finding is Windows 7 just cannot locate the HDD (even the original HDD) that's connected through the internal SATA in the b10.
I did some tricks for troubleshooting and discovered that the SSD shows up on Win7 installation when I tried to install the SSD to an USB external HDD enclosure but Win7 cannot be installed on USB and IEEE1394.Did you install a SSD to your b10 as well? Which brand are you using then? Thanks for your suggestion. I'll give that a try.
